Checkout Instructions


To check out equipment from the Imagination Station, follow the send an email to imaginationstation.dmd@gmail.com, with the information listed below:

  1. Name: (First and Last)
  2. Phone Number
  3. Peoplesoft Number
  4. Equipment you wish to check out (see list of available equipment below)
  5. Equipment Pick-Up Date and Time (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
  6. Equipment Return Time (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm - THERE IS A 2 DAY MAX FOR CHECKOUTS WITHOUT SPECIFIC PERMISSION FOR LONGER PERIODS.)
  7. Reason for Checkout (What MD class or project is it for? Be Specific ex: "DMD Foundations 2 Story Through Photos project") An Imagination Station representative will reserve the gear for you in our online checkout system, Cheqroom, which will send you an email to let you know when your gear is available to be picked up.

Equipment Prerequisites



Gear Available to ALL DMD Students who have taken DMD 1002 Foundation 2:

  1. DSLR Camera Kit (Canon T3i, T5i, T6 with 18-55mm lens)
  2. LED Light Panel
  3. Tripod
  4. Light Stand
  5. Audio Kit (Zoom H4N recorder, Sennheiser studio headphones, wired lavalier mic)

Advanced Cinematography Equipment (Available to TRAINED Cinematography students only):

  1. Canon 5D DSLR Camera
  2. Canon Lenses (50mm prime lens, 16-35mm, 24-105mm, 70-200mm)
  3. Rokinon Cinema Lenses (14mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm)
  4. Black Magic 2.4k Cinema Camera
  5. Other assorted film/video accessories
